SmartAIR+® Intelligent LEV Control System
Built on proven SmartAIR® technology, SmartAIR+® introduces next-generation wireless, self-powered control architecture that enables faster installation, simplified retrofit integration, and enhanced system reliability. The system uses advanced airflow control algorithms, real-time monitoring, and intelligent dust deposition sensing to continuously optimise fan speed and airflow according to demand.
SmartAIR+ can deliver up to 90% energy savings in certain applications, with potential return on investment in under 12 months. By reducing unnecessary airflow, the system also helps extend filter life, lower compressed air consumption, minimise equipment wear, reduce maintenance costs, and decrease system noise.
The platform consists of: Autonomous Airflow Controllers (AAC) for precise branch airflow control, an innovative Dust Deposition System (DDS) to safely optimise duct transport velocities, and a Central Control Module (CCM) with touchscreen HMI for complete system visibility and optimisation. Each operator station includes a Local Display Module (LDM) as standard, supporting both user control and compliance requirements.
SmartAIR+® is fully ATEX-certified (Category 2 & 3) for hazardous environments, making it suitable for potentially explosive atmospheres and a wide range of industrial sectors, including woodworking. The system supports both new installations and seamless upgrades to existing LEV systems without complex commissioning.
