Type 3 Flush performs just like the original Type 3, but its oval form makes it easy to be fully recessed into panels of at least 18mm thick. The narrow shape is also handy when mounting to thin battens or frames.
Made from identical materials and using the same Button as Type 3, Type 3 Flush offers the reliability and durability that sets Button-fix apart from other push-fit connectors. It also uses the same accessories - the Button Marker tool and router Multijig - as our Type 1 family of fasteners.
In parallel, we are launching the Bonded Button Plate for Type 3, to further extend the capabilities of the push-on/pull-off connector range. The new accessory allows Buttons to be attached to thin materials such as solid surface, acrylic or thin plywood, where screw-fixing is not an option and only a bonded solution works.
