As founder of OT Dare Joinery Consultants and a director of The Joinery Network, Owen brings more than 30 years of hands-on expertise in timber window and door manufacturing.
Following a successful career directing technical and operations for leading timber and door manufacturers, Owen now works with businesses across the UK and Europe to improve technical compliance, streamline production, and develop commercially viable products. His OT Dare Timber consultancy supports joinery firms of all sizes with expert guidance on PAS 24, Part Q, and Part L regulations, as well as product development and testing.
As designer of the Lignum™ timber window and door system, Owen’s insight and practical guidance have enabled SME manufacturers to access a fully certified, high-performance timber solution. His involvement with the Professional Woodworking Expo reflects his continued commitment to raising industry standards and supporting sustainable, high-quality British joinery.
