Mark Stevens
Director for Health and Safety, Didac Ltd
Didac Ltd are a National training provider specialising in commercial wood machine training, government funded apprenticeships in wood occupations and merchant trade skills, forklift training and Health and Safety support services for the wood industry sector. They are OFSTED rated as a Good provider.
Mark Stevens joined the Didac team in 2009 and was appointed as Director for Health and Safety in 2024. He started his working career as an apprenticed bench joiner achieving advanced craft and licentiate membership of City and Guilds. His career within the timber and woodworking industry led to progression through manufacturing to include workplace supervision, production management, capacity planning, materials procurement, environmental, security, fire risk management and Health and Safety. The latter role becoming his career focus.
Mark has over 30 years of experience in the wood and timber sector. He holds the NEBOSH General Certificate and Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health and has maintained continuing professional development for over 20 years as a TechIOSH member.
When not travelling to all areas of the UK assisting clients with health and safety support, Mark likes to spend time with his family, travel to new locations, cycling, walking and above all relaxing!
